Why we chose our date...

I get asked this all the time! I'd always wanted a summer wedding with gorgeous weather (although this is pretty unlikely in England!) and with me being a teacher and hopefully having a full time job at some point, August was the only suitable month since it is in the summer holidays. I wanted the 6th because it was the first saturday in August and as I've said before, I'm impatient and didn't want to wait any longer than I absolutely had to. My lovely fiancé just agreed with whatever I wanted, although he did mumble about it being on the same weekend as Brighton Pride, meaning he wouldn't be able to go back to Brighton for the pride party as his stag night!
