My favourite band is the Barenaked Ladies.
If you don't now them, they do the theme song to 'The Big Bang Theory' and you will probably have heard their song 'One Week'. Just look them up on Youtube if you're still clueless.
Anyway, I love Barenaked Ladies, and my favourite song is "If I had a million dollars". Months and months ago, when I was suggesting first dance songs to Karl, I mentioned this song as one of my very first choices and he said 'no'. You might remember that I settled on The Luckiest by Ben Folds for our first dance instead.
On Friday, we went to a BNL gig in Birmingham. They were amazing as usual, but this was Karl's first time seeing them live - and he loved it!

Today he asked if we could have "If I had a million dollars" as our first dance.
So it looks like we are changing our first dance song! Hooray!

Nw my only concern is that IIHAMD is a more upbeat song, and we probably would have to do more than just sway to it, lol. Neither of us are particularly amazing dancers (although if you asked Karl, he would disagree) so I am considering some sort of dance lessons...
Waste of money or worth it? I have no idea how much dance lessons cost! We don't want a full routine or anything, maybe just a few steps tha we can repeat? Hmmm, I might have to have a go at dancing to the song and see what works... I don't think I would want to pay for dance lessons so we might just have to wing it!
